NASA Rhode Island Space Grant Consortium Summer Internship at Museum of Natural History
The Museum of Natural History is Rhode Island’s only natural history museum and home to the state’s only public planetarium. Located in historic Roger Williams Park, the Museum has been educating and serving the public since 1896. With thematic exhibits (including an exhibit hall supported by NASA RI Space Grant Consortium) and programs that draw on our worldwide collections, along with the Cormack Planetarium, there is something here for everyone! The Museum is home to more than a quarter million treasures that encompass both the natural and cultural worlds. From minerals to mammals, baskets to birds, and starfish to fern fossils, the Museum has it all! Discover a kaleidoscope of natural and cultural diversity just waiting to be explored! Experience the wonders of our world and beyond at the Museum of Natural History. This internship is a summer part-time position (June - August) at the Museum 21 hours per week, including one weekend day.

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting Museum Patrons in NASA related exhibits and planetarium
* Preparing and facilitating informal NASA related education programs
* Assist with content supporting planetarium shows and upcoming NASA related exhibits/programming.
