Definition: The appointment would be a temporary affiliation with Brown, without salary, benefits, or other compensation. The affiliation request needs to be accompanied by a letter of endorsement from a regular faculty member at Brown, who vouches and takes responsibility for the scholar's visit. The appointment will be reviewed by the Center's Faculty Steering Committee at their next meeting. This appointment carries no salary or benefits, nor the expectation of use of CMES office space or services. Applicants need to meet Brown University's postdoctoral salary minimums.
