BCC strives to foster and promote the Brooklyn comedy community by creating a welcome space for artistic experimentation. We aim to produce shows that demonstrate a strong point of view or sense of self. We believe in supporting and rewarding artistic producers, most notably through our policy that Producers at BCC earn a significant percentage of the box office (40% of box office after the first $55 in ticket sales). These profits will be paid to the show Producer within two weeks of the performance date, who can then share the proceeds with the rest of the cast.
