Volunteer Trip to Vermont Fall 2012

VINE Sanctuary, Vermont What: • Weekend volunteer trip, ROLLING ADMISSIONS • Volunteer with 20 Brandeis students When: • Friday, September 14th-Septemeber 17th, 2012 Where: • Haven for animals who have escaped or been rescued from the meat, dairy and egg industries or other abusive circumstances, such as cockfighting • Sanctuary residents include chickens, cows, ducks, doves, geese, pigeons, horses, and parakeets • Conducts research and education aimed at creating systemic changes in agriculture, trade, consumption, and human attitudes about animals and the environment • Facilitates alliances among animal, environmental, and social justice activists Why: • Meet new people • Travel to a new area of New England • Have a meaningful volunteer experience • It’s awesome!
