We are casting for the following teams:

"Completely New Team" coached by Kent Welborn, rehearsal schedule Saturdays, 11am - 1pm (may add another rehearsal time to have rehearsals more than once a week).  Performs on Monday nights at Improv Hootenanny and Thursday nights at PrimeTime.  

---> Note from Kent Welborn about this team: "I want to try something new and have performers (and myself) make this team a priority in their improv lives.  I am going to ask that if you are cast, you are not on any other house teams at the Bovine.  If you have a conflict with another group you are on, you put this team first (i.e. Team XYZ you are on is playing at another venue the same time that you have this House Team rehearsal, you will put this House Team first and come to rehearsal).  I think of some of the great groups in improv history (UCB, The Family, Jazz Freddy) and a common thread is they made a commitment to each other.  I want to try that and see what happens."

"Bruce Lee" coached by Eric Farone, rehearsal schedule every other Saturday from 1 - 3pm and every other Saturday from 10am - 12pm. Performs on Monday nights at Improv Hootenanny and Thursday nights at PrimeTime.

"Turn It Around" coached by Natalie Kilkenny, rehearsal schedule every other Tuesday from 7 - 9pm.  Performs every Thursday night at PrimeTime.

"Sketch Team" coached by Eric Farone, performs on Thursday nights at PrimeTime. Rehearsals are every other Saturday from 10am - 1pm and every other other Saturday from 12 - 1pm.  Performs on Thursday nights at PrimeTime.

We are waiving the "no actor can play with multiple teams for the same show" rule.  But if you would like to be on multiple House Teams, you must audition multiple times.  If you get cast, you will only be offered a spot on one House Team per audition.
 

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN AUDITION:

A minimum of 6 months improvisational experience is required to be considered for a House-Team.

Experience can be in the classroom or with performance OR a graduate of the Bovine School of Improv.

Minimum Age is 18.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

Your performance schedule depends on in which house team you are cast. You could perform in one or both of two shows:

• Monday Nights at 7:30 in "Improv Hootenanny."

• Thursday nights at 7:30 in "PrimeTime."

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:

One rehearsal every week or two. The night and time depends on which house team you are cast. Please see details above for house-teams that are casting and their rehearsal schedule.

Audition is completely improvised, there is nothing to prepare and conducted in groups of 4 actors at a time
Actors are volunteers and this is a non-paid acting position
