Exploring Computer Science, with funding from the National Science Foundation and Infosys, is pleased to offer scholarships to teachers participating in CS PD week, July 17-21, 2017 at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.  Our commitment to equity includes ensuring that teachers and students who are underrepresented in CS have access to meaningful learning opportunities. As such, we encourage teachers from underrepresented groups or who serve large populations of students from underrepresented groups to apply, including but not limited to teachers of color; LGBTQ+ teachers; teachers with disabilities; and teachers serving low-income students, students in rural districts, and/or students who are members of the groups above.

Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2017. Upon receipt of your completed form, you will be added to the waitlist for available locations. Notifications of acceptance, date, location (if slots at CS PD Week are filled), and any scholarships awarded for travel and/or stipend will be made by April 14, 2017.  In order to confirm your registration, you must submit a signed letter of commitment from your principal within a week after your notification of acceptance.
