In order to keep our community as safe and secure as possible, Housing and Residence Life requires all our residents to register their guests. This ensures Boise State University is aware of who is in our residential communities in case of an emergency and allows our staff to fully support our residents and guests. Please keep in mind guests can only visit residents if all roommates are in agreement.
A guest shall be defined as a student or non-student from off-campus or another Boise State University residential facility who is not assigned to a room, suite, townhome, apartment, or building they are visiting. The following are expectations we have for our residents when they have guests visiting:
-All guests are required to comply with these Community Standards, and other applicable university rules.
-Guests must be escorted at all times by the resident they are visiting.
-Residents are responsible for the behavior of all guests and may be held accountable for their behavior.
-Guests should in no way become a nuisance to the roommate(s) or the community.
-Roommate(s) has the right to object to current or future visits and staff will mediate any concerns.
-Guests without an escort will be asked to leave the building. It is highly recommended that residents don't agree to escort someone they do not know personally.
