5/11/2013 13:27:49Exploration. #Getting Geeky. Lizz, a high school teacher-librarian.E. All of the aboveI think that the intention is to get the information out there and to make it interactive in one spot where everyone could go and get more information. Since I am a Librarian, I work with other teachers. I could see this being done in our 4th grade classroom when they do their regions project. I could see the students using a picture of their state and adding links/resources to highlight pieces of their research. This could be used as exploration - finding that information, exposition - maybe they wrote something about their state in Google Docs, and expression - they could write a journal about their "travel" to the state. Getting Going: I've tinkered and somewhat comfortable. SusanBenes

Allows students to PRODUCE something other than a worksheet/paper that is submitted and disappears.

Instead of a written response, students can demonstrate learning in different modalities that reflect the subject or assignment.

I struggle with .apps integration and getting students "on board" with blogging.

5/11/2013 13:29:59Expression.  #Getting Started.  Dennis, a PreK teacher.E. All of the aboveI would use blogs for adding the word "self" in front of each word listed.. self-expression, self-exposition, and self-exploration. Learning is personal and students can use their blog as a way to reflect. Their learning is before them, and they always have it available to them.Getting Going: I've tinkered and somewhat comfortable. JanetO'Hara

All of the aboveThe part that I could hear was that she wanted relevant and realistic real life situations for her students to demonstrate their knowledge in French. Which is true, most of the time in a classroom the situations are totally controlled and contrived.Getting Started: My first time using this tool.LeePaulzine
