Ride for Reading 2015 Volunteer Form
The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is partnering with Andrew Hamilton Elementary School on an event called Ride for Reading. The mission of Ride for Reading is to promote literacy and healthy living by donating books via bicycle to children from low-income areas.

On Tuesday, May 10th, dozens of volunteers will ride books to Hamilton School, followed by a short presentation about healthy minds and healthy bodies at 9 AM, and then distribute the books to children. Every child will take home at least one book.

Here is the schedule:
7:45 AM – Meet at Ritten House Square to load books into bags and onto bikes
8:00 AM - Bike ride leaves Ritten House
8:45 AM - (approximate): Arrive at Hamilton Elementary School
9:00 AM - Ride for Reading assembly

*Once volunteers drop the books at the school, you are welcome to stay for the assembly, but if you have to get on with your day, that is totally fine too.
