Every group will have daily homework related to each class, which will take between 1 - 3 hours, depending on the student's math background and experience. The homeworks WILL be graded. There will be pre-tests and final tests.

Fee is payable ONLY by check written to United Math Circles Foundation and mailed to Berkeley Math Circle - Upper, c/o Prof. Stankova, Evans Hall 970, Department of Mathematics, University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA 94720-3840. Alternatively, you can bring the check in person and slide it in a sealed and addressed envelope under the door to Evans 713. On the subject line, please, write the name of the student and the group for which you are signing. Please, note that the Tuesday BMC, the Thursday MTRW program, and the BMC Summer Program are independent. Students cannot be switched from one program to the other. No fees can be applied from one program to the other, rolled over to future programs, or used in any other way.

When textbooks and materials are finalized, an additional fee of about $45 will be required for some of the groups. Please write "I agree" in the answer box.

Payment Rules and Conditions
No check will be deposited until a student is accepted into the program. Once a check is deposited, it is neither fully nor partially refundable. A deposited check cannot be exchanged for another student, cannot be rolled over to another program or used for any other purpose. Bounced checks will incur a $30 fee that must be paid to United Math Circles Foundation. Please write "I agree" in the answer box to indicate that you understand and accept these conditions.
