Expression of Interest/Recommendation Form
Are you a resident of British Columbia under the age of 30 actively involved in working toward solutions for global issues? Do you know someone who is?

Part of a week-long national initiative International Development Week 2017, the BC Council for International Cooperation will be highlighting and celebrating work British Columbians are undertaking that contributes to achieving the new UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sometimes referred to as a ‘youth agenda’ we would like to have this event showcase the breadth and diversity of efforts youth are making in BC aimed at moving us toward a better world.

Sound interesting?

We would like to extend an invitation to you to express interest to speak/present (or make a suggestion on who may be a good fit for this opportunity) as part of a youth showcase in Vancouver focused on bringing increased attention to the work youth are contributing to the achievement of the new United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the province of British Columbia.

We will be featuring 8 speakers who are able to speak to the global-local connections of their work, the relevance of the SDGs in regard to their work, and a ability to speak to the values that underpin the new global goals (universality, interconnectedness, and aspiration)

If you and able/interested in participating as one of our speakers, please fill out this form by Friday, January 13th.
