This form is used by Conservatory undergraduate students to request a waiver from the Chamber Music requirement.
Chamber music for Conservatory students is a requirement for each semester of their enrollment. During the course of the five-year program, certain semesters may present more intense demands, such that a student would benefit from having some flexibility for managing their work.  At such times, students may apply to waive the requirement in chamber music. The applications will be evaluated by the Conservatory Administration, and the decision to grant a waiver will be made based on a combination of factors having to do directly with each case. Application for waiver should made prior to the beginning of the semester in order to facilitate planning for the chamber music program as a whole.

After submitting this waiver request form, further consultation may be necessary and you may be asked to meet with faculty and administration.
