We are seeking presentations that explore contemporary perspectives on law, and particularly the role of law in the advancement of civilization as informed by study of the Revelation and familiarity with the conceptual framework guiding the work of the Bahá’í community.
Proposals may be submitted by an individual or group. Presentations should be approximately 20-30 minutes followed by group discussion. The format of the presentation may vary and is left to the discretion of the individual or team preparing the session.
Presentations can explore- the efforts of an individual/group to analyze or contribute to a prevalent discourse in law;- original scholarship prepared by an individual/group related to an area of special interest within law; or- how elements of the Baha'i conceptual framework have shaped and/or directed an individual's efforts in their studies or work in law.
Please submit your proposals as an abstract comprising of no more than 250 words. Proposals should include a title, an outline of the presentation’s central questions or areas of inquiry, and a general description of how the presentation can contribute to our group’s understanding of contemporary perspectives on law, within the context of contributing to advancement of civilization in this field.
