About the Organization
ISAP is an NGO working towards economically empowering resource-poor people through market-based approach founded in May 2013. Our activities consistently improve the ability of target populations to begin and grow businesses, participate in profitable value chains and access finance.

We have been working on entrepreneurship programs focusing on the younger population, such as the SchoolPreneur program, YouthPreneur Program, Udhyami Fellowship, Udhyami Insights, etc.

About the Position
The intern works as part of a team of program staffs who are implementing host of training and other activities under ISAP's entrepreneurship development program area. The intern holds a variety of responsibilities related to the research, analysis, and coordination of programmatic activities with a primary focus on organizing, scheduling, promoting, marketing, and conducting various training programs. 60-70% of your time will be spend on providing key inputs across our projects such as Business Fundamentals for Agro Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurship Apprenticeship Program, SchoolPrenuer and YouthPrenuer Programs. 30-40% of your time would be spend on short one-off work. Examples of this would be conducting research that goes to a client or stakeholder, writing grant application or planning a organizational retreat.

ISAP would open an application for the position of Program Associate with starting date of Sept 1, 2017. The intern would be encouraged to apply to that position.

Key Responsibilities
• Build relationships with entrepreneurs, partner organization, and other stakeholders
• Draft proposals, reports, blogs, etc
• Handle logistics and operations for various events and training
• Conduct several training as facilitators and trainers
Required Skills and Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in management, development studies, sociology or relevant fields of study. Those who have already completed their final exam and are awaiting results would be eligible.
• Excellent English and Nepali language communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to travel to project areas for assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation and willingness to travel to remote areas.
• Computer skills, for record keeping, reporting, assessment and analysis.
• Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
• Ability to build and grow networks
• Ability and willingness to research on various topics in regards to different projects
Other Details
BASE STATION: Kathmandu with occasional travel to rural areas

CONTRACT PERIOD: 2 months. Eligible to apply for Program Associate Position after that period.

DEADLINE: As soon as possible!

WORKING HOURS: Mon - Fri 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Occasional work during weekends.

REMUNERATION: Lunch Allowance and Travel Allowance.
