The Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts consists of six schools plus the ASU Art Museum (ASU FIDM, and the Schools of Art; Arts, Media and Engineering;  Music, Dance and Theatre; The Design School, and The Sidney Poitier New American Film School).

Most undergraduate Herberger Institute programs are offered in the Tempe Campus except for Fashion and Popular Music, these programs are offered in the Downtown Campus. Please note we are only able to accommodate a visit to ONE campus only. If you wish to visit another program on a different campus, a High School request form must be filled out for another date. Visits are only open to High Schools.

Guidelines

High School group visit requests must be processed at least 4 weeks prior to your requested visit date. School group visit availability is limited and visits tend to fill up quickly. After your request is submitted, our office will contact you within 10 business days. Please do not finalize your plans until we confirm your requested date as we cannot guarantee that your group will be accommodated.

Visits are limited to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Visits will begin no earlier than 8:30am and no later than 2pm. Monday and Friday visits are not available due to scheduled college events (exception School of Art).

***Please note the School of Art has limited availability this fall and is only available on selected Fridays in the morning.***

Group Size & Chaperones: During most visit days, we can accommodate groups up to 30 in size. One chaperone is required for every 10 students and/or guests. Chaperones are expected to monitor the behavior of each student and/or guest during the entire visit. Group size and chaperone count is not negotiable.

Campus Lunch: Groups are welcome to bring their own sack lunches, however our office is unable to store lunches during your visit. If your group would like to purchase meals, please view the on-campus dining locations via this link http://sundevildining.asu.edu/
