North Stars Community Leaders in Conversation (CLIC) Application
North Stars Community Leaders in Conversation (CLIC) brings young adults together with artists, activists, and historians, providing opportunities to work collaboratively, discuss issues of justice, and think critically and creatively. North Stars CLIC participants will have the chance to engage in studio tours; panel discussions; field trips; dialogues about history, race, and justice; and make art inspired by this exchange that will be publicly displayed in the Art Sanctuary gallery.

North Stars CLIC is a collaboration between Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site and Art Sanctuary intended to support young people who are interested in careers in art, criminal justice, prison reform, law, or social activism. Participants will grow personally and professionally, have leadership experiences, and make important connections within Philadelphia that will help them in their future careers. We are looking for participants who are responsible, thoughtful, self-starters, and enjoy meeting and working with new people.

Free Septa tokens, supplies, and snacks provided. The week-long program will begin on August 21st 2017.

Open to: Philadelphia young adults, ages 15-19
