Northshore Schools Foundation Innovative Educator Nomination Form
In 2014 the Northshore Schools Foundation began the practice of honoring an Innovative Educator.

Previously this grant was only available to educators who had received funding from the Foundation, we are now expanding our nomination pool to any deserving educator and adding an incentive in an effort to recognize the great innovation happening in our district.

This year, the Innovative Educator award will be awarded to one educator from the nominating pool in recognition for what they are currently doing in the classroom. The Educator selected will be guaranteed funding of up to $2000 to support a classroom or school project that is reflecting the innovation in their work. We will also recognize every nominated educator with a certificate of nomination.

Eligibility: Applicants must be employed with the Northshore School District as a certificated staff.

Terms of Selection: Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Foundation volunteers. The top candidates may be interviewed in person. The candidate that is selected for the award must be able to address an audience of approx. 500 on April 4, 2017 at the Northshore Schools Foundation Fundraising luncheon. (Sub time paid) The teacher will be presenting at the Lunch festivities only.
