Our Families, Our Health Pledge!

Healthy thriving families lead to strong, resilient communities. When we are healthy, we are more likely to live fulfilling lives and contribute to a vibrant and productive Oregon. Healthcare continues to be a challenge for many. Over 383,000 Oregonians remain uninsured. These are disproportionately people of color including Pacific Islanders, rural Oregonians, immigrants, refugees, and LGTBQ individuals.

APANO and our health equity partners continue to fight so all our families have the rights, resources, and recognition needed to thrive. We specifically seek to win affordable and accessible healthcare for those who currently lack coverage—low-income adults, undocumented Oregonians, immigrants facing the 5 year federal bar, and Pacific Islanders from Compact of Free Association (COFA) nations—and to ensure all people have access to the full range of reproductive health care, including contraception, abortion, prenatal and postpartum care.

We are building a base of support—help us get to 500 Pledges by January 2016!
