Celebrate National Voter Registration Day! September 27th, 2016
Did you know that only half of API’s who are eligible to vote, are registered? Many young people, seniors, and new citizens don’t get registered for one simple reason--they haven’t been asked, or language and cultural barriers. APANO is working hard to engage our communities this year. Our democracy must reflect the communities we serve.
Join APANO as we celebrate National Voter Registration Day on September 27th, 2016. This is a single day of coordinated action to register thousands of community members across the nation. And here in Oregon, we have organized local efforts in our communities. You must be a U.S. Citizen and at least 17 years old to register. Election Day is November 8th.
Join our mobilization efforts as we register more Asian and Pacific Islanders to vote this election year. Thank you for your support!
