END7 Campus Leaders Council Application
Thanks so much for your interest in joining the END7 Campus Leaders Council (CLC)! We are recruiting a diverse group of students to help lead our campaign against neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) on campuses around the world during the 2016-2017 academic year. Each student accepted to the END7 Campus Leaders Council is expected to:
- Act as a liaison between your university community and the END7 campaign
- Complete a Leadership Planning Worksheet outlining a vision of your university’s support of the END7 campaign
- Support END7’s fundraising, advocacy, and education goals throughout the year
- Communicate with your peer mentor on the END7 Student Advisory Board on a regular basis
Successful applicants will receive provisional membership to the Campus Leaders Council. To successfully complete their term, they will complete a series of fundraising, advocacy, and education activities throughout the year.
Applicants should have:
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
- A commitment to health equity and social justice
- A plan to increase support of the END7 campaign on their campus
Members of the END7 Campus Leaders Council receive insider access to our campaign, a comprehensive education on NTD science and policy, connection to a peer mentor on the END7 Student Advisory Board, opportunities to apply for funding to attend global health conferences and events, advance notice of internship opportunities at END7 and other global health organizations, connections to a network of global health professionals and future leaders, and valuable leadership development opportunities.
Priority will be given to students who apply by June 30, though students will be accepted to the END7 Campus Leaders Council on a rolling basis throughout the school year (positions will be offered to one student per school). Email END7 student coordinator Emily at
