As the day progressed winds began to pick up out of the East with a speed of 30 mph and gusting to 37 mph. High temperatures were 15.6 C (60 F) and a low of 5.6 C (42 F). Monday (4/28/2014) was a pleasant day (16.1 C / 61 F) but precipitation did begin to fall later in the evening (0.38 cm). Today (4/29/2014) began with showers and thunderstorms ending around 7:00am netting 1.09 cm of precipitation. Most of the day showed a decrease in cloudiness with temperatures warming rapidly reaching 21.67 C (71 F). A brief thunderstorm did run through just as we finished up with our last study site for the day. The Sevey Drain is higher and wider campared to when we last measured it a week ago. This we believe is due to an addition of 3.15 cm of precipitation over the past seven days. Aside from looking like its discharge will be much greater compared to last week's the riparian zone does finally look much more greener and active then it had in the past.2.930.2020.591#401 Allendale Public Schools

Total precipitation was 0.26in of rain and 0.7in of snow. Since the last fieldwork day, there has been an additional 2.13 in of total precipitation.Water levels were a little higher than in previous weeks. Monday was surprisingly nice with no rain and temperatures reaching 68 F (20 C). The over night hours (Monday-Tuesday) did receive 2.3 inches of snow. Today (Tuesday) was partly sunny but very cold with temperatures dipping to 26o F (-3.3 C) during the over night hours and then only reaching a high of 33o F (0.56 C). This year's weather seems to be a roller coaster. The Creek was very high today. This was expected after the melt of an almost record breaking accumulated snowfall this past winter.0.3770.1420.053Discharge was also calculated with factoring in average width and bottom factor. That calculation resulted in 0.132 m3/sec#405 Allendale Public Schools

Monday nearly a repeat of the weather on Sunday, but we did have isolated showers in the afternoon (0.16 in of precipitation). Today (Tuesday) was partly sunny with a drop in temperatures with highs only reaching 56 F / 13.3 C.The Sevey Drain's stage did seem to be lower than last week. #405 Allendale Public Schools4/29/201412:20126.953208.50.350.11127.5050013.6Sunday (4/27/2014) started with a light rain in the morning (0.2 cm of precip). The Sevey Drain is higher and wider compared to when we last measured it a week ago. This we believe is due to an addition of 3.15 cm of precipitation over the past seven days. Aside from looking like its discharge will be much greater compared to last week's the riparian zone does finally look much more greener and active then it had in the past.0.2930.250.073Calculating discharge when factoring in average width and bottom factor equated to 0.109 m3/sec.#405 Allendale Public Schools
