IN Migrant Region 3 Summer School Application
Title 1, Part C Migrant Education Program (MEP) of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 supports high quality education for migratory children (ages 3-21) and helps ensure that migratory children who move among the states are not penalized in any manner by disparities among states in curriculum, graduation requirements, or state academic content and student academic achievement standards.

Region 3 is one of seven regional centers in the state of Indiana which are charged with the vision and mission of identifying and serving 100% of the migrant children in our regions. The MEP is designed to help migratory children, ages 3-21, overcome educational disruption, cultural and language barriers, social isolation, various health-related problems, and other factors that inhibit the ability of such children to do well in school and to prepare such children to make a successful transition to post-secondary education or employment.

All teacher positions re-open each year. We hope to ensure the highest qualified teachers for the migrant program. Applications for the summer of 2017 are now being accepted until February 28, 2017. Teaching positions will be available at Alexandria-Monroe Elementary School in Alexandria, IN.
