Membership Committee
Chair: Vice President Rachel Law. Liaison: Quad Director  Description: Explore opportunities for advancement in membership value and define typologies within current and anticipated membership.
Governance Committee
Chair: President Sarah Wahlgren. Liaison: Quad Director. Description: Evaluating governance issues of the organization and make recommendations as appropriate to the Board.
Finance Committee
Chair: Vice President Rachel Law. Liaison: Quad Director. Description: Work with the Executive Director to prepare the annual budget for review and approval by the full Board.
Personnel Committee
Chair: AIA Liaison Steve Vogel. Liaison: Quad Director. Description: Evaluate the performance of the Executive Director and Officers as per the outline of responsibilities defined in the employment contract, the Bylaws, the Rules of the Board, and in any other performance guidelines and goals defined by the committee and previously agreed to by the executive director and officers.
Elections Committee
Chair: Past President Danielle Mitchell. Description: Prepare and administer the elections cycle to be held at FORUM 2016
Advocacy Task Force
Chair: [OPEN] Liaison: Quad Director. Description: Explore opportunities for advancement of equity, health, sustainability, and justice in schools of architecture, legislature, and the profession.
Freedom by Design Advisory Group
Chair: [OPEN] Liaison: Quad Director. Description: Strategize Freedom By Design programming within AIAS in regards to national conferences, resources, and areas for growth.
Design Task Force
Chair: [OPEN]. Liaison: Quad Director. Description: Investigate and enhance the relationship between AIAS and design in schools of architecture in regards to competitions and membership value.
International Task Force
Chair: Vice President Rachel Law. Liaison: Quad Director. Description: Represent and connect the international chapters of the AIAS.
AIAS Advocacy Network
A network of members who are the first respondents to actionable activist efforts put forth by the AIAS. Open to all interested members.
