Get Up 'N' Get Walking Adelphi! Too much sitting has been reported to increase risk of death through cardiovascular disease and cancer. Your solution?! Every week Campus Recreation will hold group walks around the campus. Sign up with a friend, co-worker, or as a group to help motivate each other stay on track. The walking route is 1 mile which is equivalent to 2,000 steps! The daily goal of steps recommended for health improvement in a day is 10,000.
