2013 Fast Track Resident Assistant/Tutor Job Details

POSITION & PAY: 2 Resident Assistant/ Tutors (one male/one female); $2,000 + free room and board during Fast Track Program (7 July – 3 August 2013) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify for this position, you must: 1. Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) 2. Have earned A’s and B’s in your English and/or math courses 3. Not be enrolled for summer classes in July, nor have other commitments during the program duration 4. Reside on campus for the entire time you are a Resident Assistant/Tutor 5. Not be on Academic or Judicial Probation status 6. Possess a valid driver’s license JOB DUTIES & EXPECTATIONS: 1. Attend the training, planning sessions and parent/student orientation prior to the beginning of the Fast Track Program 2. Perform check-in and check-out procedures for Fast Track participants 3. Transport the students to scheduled offsite activities using ASU-provided vehicles 4. Attend classes and provide tutoring to students during assigned tutoring hours 5. Effectively communicate with Fast Track faculty and staff 6. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when addressing student concerns and/or issues 7.
