Summer Art Camp 2017, August 7-11
In the elementary session, what is art camp without weaving and tie-dye? We will again do some large-scale weavings and tie-dying that the kids love. We have many other fun projects to try out, maybe we will explore creating folk art faces, painted cardboard animal creations, creating paper maché artwork, art with clay, and other creative ideas that are developing in Mr. Wanner's brain.
In the middle school session will make a Chihuly inspired soda bottle sculpture to hang at school, plaster masks, monochromatic landscape oil paint landscapes and maybe we will try out some plein air acrylic painting (if it not too hot outside) or other crazy project that Mr. Wanner is working on.
For both sessions we provide the materials (and the snacks); You provide your energy, creativity and great mind. You will gain experience in art and enjoy it!
