Summer Art Camp 2016, August 8 - 12

In the elementary session, what is art camp without weaving and tie-dye? We will again do some large-scale weavings and tie-dying that the kids love. We have many other fun projects to try out, maybe we will explore creating paper maché artwork, art with clay, wire self-portraits, painting like Jackson Pollock and other creative ideas that are developing in Mr. Wanner's brain.

In the middle school session will make finger puppets, circle inspired sculptures, poured paintings, and maybe we will try out making, cutting, and printing a woodcut image on a t-shirt or maybe even some plein air acrylic painting (if it not too hot outside).

For both sessions we provide the materials (and the snacks); you provide your energy, creativity and great mind. You will gain experience in art and enjoy it!
