Please fill out and submit this form if you are interested in providing volunteer support at the ActionNYC Immigration Legal Clinic on April 23, 2016. This clinic will be managed by the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) and will provide immigrants with free legal screenings and consultations; Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Employment Authorization, and Request for Fee Waiver application/form assistance; and information about IDNYC services and various social, educational, health, and financial resources. ActionNYC is a program of the New York City Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs and The City University of New York.

The NYIC needs the following types of volunteers for the event:

TPS TEAM (8:30am - 5pm shift)
* Application/Form Assistance Volunteers - support participants in filling out TPS, Employment Authorization and Request for Fee Waiver applications/forms. Must attend a training on Friday, April 15, from 9am to 12:30pm at the NYIC's office at 131 W 33rd St, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

* Legal Review Volunteers - review the TPS, Employment Authorization, and Request for Fee Waiver applications/forms that participants fill out. Must be an immigration attorney or BIA accredited.

LOGISTICS & INTERPRETATION TEAM (8:30am - 1pm and 12:30pm - 5pm shifts)
* Interpretation Volunteers - support communications between event staff/volunteers and participants, particularly during legal screenings and application/form assistance.

* Logistics Volunteers - provide ushering, general assistance, and language access support.
