Charts: Adding charts to documents and presentations

Print
While it's not possible to add a chart directly to a document or presentation, you can save your chart as a .png and then import the image into your document or presentation. To save your chart as a .png from a spreadsheet:
  1. Double-click the chart, or click the Chart drop-down menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Save image.
  3. In the window that appears, select Save to disk and click OK. Your chart will be saved to your local computer.
To insert the saved chart in your document:
  1. Open the document.
  2. Place your cursor where you'd like the chart to appear.
  3. Select the Insert tab.
  4. Click Picture.

    The Insert Picture window appears.
  5. Browse for and select your .png chart file.
  6. Click OK.
To insert the saved chart in your presentation:
  1. Open the presentation.
  2. Select the slide you'd like, and place your cursor where you'd like the image to appear.
  3. Select the Insert image button, from above the toolbar.
  4. Browse for and select your .png chart file.
  5. Click OK.
