Before continuing, we STRONGLY recommend that you read the feedback from our first parents' Meet & Greet, and visit the website of the school "The French ABC" (www.thefrenchabc.com) so that you have the maximum of information about the ins and outs of our project.
Now, let's talk about a potential French-American preschool in Jersey City (September 2013)...
We are working towards the opening of a French-American private preschool (children aged 2 to 6 years old) in Jersey City in September 2013. The school would be accredited by both the American system and the French system (homologation "établissement français à l'étranger"), and would follow the core of what's done currently at The French ABC. Would you be interested in such a school? *
We want to provide a high-quality program while maintaining the enrollment affordable. The first elements show that it will be hard to go below $15.000 per child per year in terms of tuition, which is still significantly lower than similar private programs in the Jersey City / New York City area. Would you be willing to pay a $15.000 tuition per child per year for such a program? *
(Based on a full-time school day, 8.45am to 3pm on average)
How far are you willing to commute to bring your child(ren) to school? *

Now, let's talk about a potential French afterschool program (as early as Fall/Winter 2012)...
Starting this Fall/Winter (2012), we're hoping to offer a first introduction to French language to young children. French will be introduced through a multi sensory approach using creative arts, language arts, singing, games and cooking (the ratio of each depending on the age group). We will follow the cursus of the "programme de l'éducation nationale française" (French Education System) in terms of skills to be acquired at the end of a class year, giving all the children what will be needed to pursue their education in the French-American school the following year, if desired.
Would you be interested in such a program? *
If no, why? *
If yes, would you prefer: *
Required
Please indicate how many children you would enroll in that kind of program for a start this Fall/Winter 2012:
Aged 3 years old by September 2012: *
Aged 4 years old by September 2012: *
Aged 5 years old by September 2012: *
Aged 6 years old by September 2012: *
Would you be interested in a session for younger children (0 to 3 years old)? *
Babies and toddlers would discover French through music, stories and puppet shows, to name a few.
Would you be interested in a French language program for adults? (evening session) *
In order for us to have reliable figures and better prepare the year to come, we need to have a tangible commitment from you, parents.
Would you be willing to give a down payment (per child, deductible from the yearly tuition) by August 2012 for an afterschool program opening in the Fall/Winter 2012, and by February 2013 for a school opening in September 2013? *
