SPS FEEST Student Organizer Application 2023-2024
There are 4 sections to this application. Please set aside some time to read through this application & create your responses! ✨

FEEST is a youth organizing program at Chief Sealth, Rainier Beach, Franklin, Evergreen and Tyee High Schools. We’re offering an exciting paid opportunity for youth who are interested in health and social justice to build organizing skills and make positive change in your school district!

In the FEEST program you will receive leadership training, develop facilitation & public speaking skills, learn about social justice, and build youth power to create more equitable school systems in the Seattle and Highline School Districts.

In the '21-'22 school year,  FEEST Student Organizers learned that the overwhelming majority of high school students in SPS & HSD felt that it is important & urgent to improve students’ mental health. Since then, we’ve been building a campaign to create solutions that directly speak to what students need. This year, FEEST Student Organizers will be building the vision to expand our Mental Health campaign for the 23’-24’ school year while creating joyful community connection & transformational change!

This program is 4-6 hours per week.
You will be paid a monthly stipend which breaks down to about $50 per/meeting.
