Queer Resilience Coalition (QRC) 2023-2024 Application
Thank you for your interest in joining the Queer Resilience Coalition (QRC) student advisory board. This application will take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

QRC MISSION AND PURPOSE:

The Women and Gender Equity Center and LGBTQIA+ Initiatives strives to provide students, faculty, staff, and members of the Hampton Roads area a community where they can be free and confident in expressing their identities. WGEC strives to reduce homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism in the Old Dominion University community through educational and interactive programming, mentorship, and LGBT advocacy.

The Queer Resilience Coalition (QRC) strengthens and amplifies the voices of the ODU LGBTQIA+ student community through its advisory role to the Coordinator for the LGBTQIA+ Initiatives at the Women and Gender Equity Center (WGEC) and the LGBTQIA+ Student Success Lead. In its advising role, the QRC will offer suggestions for improving current programming, events, and services on campus, and will also provide recommendations for new initiatives to strengthen the network of support across campus units. The QRC will also raise awareness of LGBTQIA+ culture, community, and voice through the creation and dissemination of the Q-ODU Zine.
