June 2 will be our final Orchard Day of the school year. As we prep for summer, we will also take a moment to celebrate Ben and Cecilia, the graduating student leaders who have reinvigorated community engagement in the Orchard after getting a Permaculture Design Certification through March Term a few years ago.
Help support the student-run Athenian Orchard, which is home to over 125 fruit-bearing trees. Produce grown is donated to local food banks. Although there are a variety of activities for different bodies, the Orchard is on a hillside and includes uneven terrain. No experience necessary; we'll teach you!
Please wear sun protection and boots or sturdy close-toed shoes. We have a supply of tools & gloves though you're welcome to bring your own. Reusable water bottles are encouraged. We'll provide snacks for volunteers throughout our time together!
Please complete the form below to RSVP for you and your group.
