This is the official application form for the Harold J. Protsman Piano Competition at the Diehn School of Music.

Repertoire: Include Composer, Title and Duration

Submit at least two (2) contrasting pieces

Category 1: up to 6 minutes
Category 2: up to 10 minutes
Category 3: up to 15 minutes
Senior Category: up to 20 minutes

Please pay the application fee before submitting your application

If you are facing financial difficulties and are unable to pay the application fee, please contact Dr. Zachary Deak at zdeak@odu.edu with a brief explanation. In an attempt to make the competition accessible to all, the application fee may be waived in certain cases.

A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
