What is Taste of Limmud New Haven?
Everyone is a learner! 'Taste of Limmud' New Haven is the first annual, volunteer-driven Jewish life and learning festival of culture and identity which includes experiential and text based sessions. 'Taste of Limmud' New Haven workshops explore life cycle events, texts, history, arts, spirituality, and Israel. Thanks to your volunteerism our conference will offer learning presentations and hands-on sessions on Torah, text, Jewish identity, movement, meditation, music, food, theory and practice—and more. Limmud in Hebrew means ‘learning'.
Anyone may offer to present a session! Just like the 90+ Limmud conferences held around the world, the 'Taste of Limmud' New Haven program team reviews session proposals from anyone with a passion to present a Jewish topic. Presenters also attend the festival as learners.
No matter where you are on the spectrum of Jewish living, there is more to learn and more to do. “Who is wise? One who learns from every person.” — Pirkei Avot, Chapters of the Sages. 4:1
