As you prepare for the 2023 season, we encourage you to take a golf lesson or two from a professional, review the Rules of Golf, and play in golf tournaments or perhaps a summer league. To help gain insight into your game before we see you at tryouts, please answer the questions below.

Tryout Reminder...

*2023 Tryouts for the SSA Boys’ Golf Team will be 9-holes on Monday, August 7th and 18-holes on Tuesday, August 8th at the Pittsburgh National Golf Club starting at 7:30 AM. There may be cuts after Monday and Tuesday as the final Varsity and JV team rosters will be limited to no more than 9 players each. The tryout groups will be assigned by the coaches, but all players are to be present at the course no later than 7:30 AM each day. An adult marker will be assigned and accompany each group on the course.

Please know, if a playoff for a roster position on the team is needed as determined by the coaching staff, there may be additional tryout rounds on Wednesday, August 9 and/or Monday, August 14 - this may be offered to a limited number of students near the cutline and in a competitive position to make the team as determined by the coaches.
