McCain Library Course Materials (Reserves) Form
To ensure accuracy, the library cannot accept reserve submissions via email. All reserve requests must be submitted using this form. After submitting your first request, the form will prompt you to add your next item (a separate request is needed for each reserve item). 

When electronic (eBook or streaming) versions of requested items are available for order, the library will purchase online editions in place of physical copies unless the cost and/or limits on the number of users are prohibitive.   

After your request is received, a library staff member will follow-up with you when items are available.

For each requested course, the library creates a page on the course reserves website on WorldCat (example: https://agnesscott.on.worldcat.org/courseReserves/course/id/18786268).

TO CHECK FOR COURSE MATERIALS ON RESERVE: Visit https://agnesscott.on.worldcat.org/courseReserves/landing. If your course page is active, you do not have to submit a reserve form for the existing course materials as long as they still reflect the correct items. If you would like to double check, you can look underneath each title to see the location of the material. If it is still on our course reserves shelf or available electronically, the location will read "McCain Library Reserve." When any item is moved from any location in the library, we make sure the location is reflected online. If the location still reads "McCain Library Reserve," you do not need to submit through the form again.

When we take down a course from our course reserves system and remove it from our WorldCat database (online course reserves list), you will not see an active link for the course online, and the location listed under the book will be elsewhere in the library's collection. If this is the case for something you need to be on reserve for a course of yours, please re-submit the form linked in the course reserves reminder emails. 

If you know you will be teaching a course every semester, or every year or two, please email accessservices@agnesscott.edu and let us know to save us all the trouble of taking down and replacing the same course reserve materials, and to keep you from needlessly refilling the form.
