Polutnik Family Freshman Scholarship
Michael Polutnik and JoAnne (Vecchio) Polutnik were graduates of Elyria Catholic. JoAnne attended St. Mary
and taught school at St. Jude. Both of their daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie, attended St Jude and also
graduated from EC. All were grateful for the education, relationships, and Christian values received at EC. The
family is pleased to offer this financial assistance to allow future Panthers to gain guidance and values
necessary to attain a successful pathway in life.

Criteria:
  • Applicant must be applying as a freshman at Elyria Catholic. 
  • Applicant must be actively involved in extra-curricular activities and exemplify a Christian lifestyle
  • Applicant must demonstrate financial need via a FACTS Grant & Aid application
  • Applicants family must have applied for the EdChoice Scholarship Program.
Award:
One student will receive $1,0000 (final award amount subject to change based on student need) applied directly to their tuition for each of their four years at Elyria Catholic pending they remain in good academic standing.
