UIC TopRail Survey:                    Attractiveness of Railways for Leisure Tourists 
How do we convince leisure tourists to use railways  -either as main or one-amongst-other modes of transportation- during a holiday? UIC (The Worldwide Railway Organisation) TOPRAIL working group aims at solving this question and finding solutions for the most important pain points that stop leisure tourists from using railways during their holidays.

This survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and will help us identify the key pain points and the potential solutions, in order to create more tourist-friendly rail services.

In the following form we ask you to assess and rank different features  according to how important you consider them to be when mainstreaming rail travel for leisure tourism purposes.

Please notice that the survey refers to general purpose railways and NOT already existing tourist railways like Transiberian, Orient Express or similar.
