Please fill in the details below if you are interested in taking part as a choir member in the LIT! finale light show on December 21st.
EVERYONE is invited to join The Lit Chorus! Our Choral Director is composer and vocal animateur Kirsty Martin and she’ll be writing a brand new commissioned anthem for the project, as well as choosing and curating the set, running the rehearsal workshops and conducting on the evening.
There are no auditions, there’s no need to be able to read music and most songs will be set in 3 part harmony. You don’t need to have had any singing or choral experience, as you’ll be in good hands with Kirsty - she’ll guide you through the songs and provide audio resources, lyric sheets and scores when available.
The only requirements are enthusiasm and availability! There are 8 rehearsal workshops dates and we ask that you are available for a minimum of 6 rehearsals in order to be part of the performance. Please see the dates below.
It is really important to say that none of your answers to the question below will prevent anyone from taking part in the project. They are for evaluating who the project reaches and making sure we get a good cross-section of our local community involved. If you have any questions please email

We will only use the personal data provided in relation to this opportunity
N.B.We do everything that we can to ensure that volunteering on the project will be cost neutral for anyone who takes part.
