With a foreword from The California Endowment’s Robert K. Ross, If We Want to Win lays out a provocative vision for moving the United States toward a more inclusive and just democracy. The just-released book curates essays from twenty Latinx thought leaders, addressing criminal justice, education, women’s rights, arts & culture, and more.

Editor Diana Campoamor will moderate this virtual conversation and share why she spearheaded the project. Panelists will include Dr. Robert K. Ross, Antonia Hernández, and Alexandra Aquino-Fike. They will discuss the essays they contributed to the collection and offer ideas to improve equity and justice throughout the United States.

Closed captions in English and simultaneous interpretation in Spanish will be available.

Con un preámbulo de Robert K. Ross de The California Endowment, el libro If We Want to Win nos ofrece una visión provocadora que busca hacer que Estados Unidos avance hacia una democracia más incluyente y equitativa. Este libro recién publicado recopila ensayos de veinte líderes de opinión Latinx, analizando la justicia penal, la educación, los derechos de la mujer, el arte y la cultura, etc.

La editora Diana Campoamor moderará esta charla virtual y nos compartirá el por qué encabezó el proyecto. Los panelistas incluyen al Dr. Robert K. Ross, Antonia Hernández, y Alexandra Aquino-Fike. Ellos hablarán de los ensayos que aportaron al libro y ofrecerán ideas para fomentar la equidad y la justicia en todo Estados Unidos.
