2022/23 Sem B PALS Mentor Application
Dear students,

The College is bringing back the Peer-assisted Learning Scheme (PALS) again in Semester B 2022/23, and this time, we are making big changes on it; PALS is getting bigger, PALS is going to cover more things, PALS is going to be more than you can imagine. That’s why we are sending you this email, to let you know what’s going on here.

Why PALS?
PALS is a scheme that aims to help improving your academic performances with the experience of your peers, knowledge is not only given by teachers, but also from your peers, especially your successful fellows. Learn from recent experience of your peers or senior students is the key of PALS. We put students into small groups and every group will be led by a mentor; your mentor will provide help that suits your need of study.

Let’s stop on learning and studying for a while, joining PALS is way more than that. Joining PALS, regardless of being a mentor or a mentee, will grant you a participation certificate; mentors will receive a certain amount of paid reward while mentees will be receiving recognition from the College if you achieve a significant improvement. Long story short, the more effort you pay in PALS, the more you gain.
