My name is Cynthia (Lee Yuen Ling), a final year undergraduate student at the Edinburgh Napier University at UK.  As part of my degree course, I am undertaking a psychology research honour project. I would like to invite you to participant in this research. This study is aim to explore the effect of internalized homophobia mediate the relationship between cyber dating apps abuse and self-esteem. To be eligible to be participant you must be at least 18 years old and identity as gay or lesbian and related to mobile dating apps use. Please read this from before you agree to be volunteer participant in this study.

Your participant is entirely voluntary. All of answer of survey will be kept it completely confidential and anonymous. Your personal information will not be identified in the study. I will not publish any of this survey material. The data collected from this survey will be destroyed after three years once the research completed.

The survey consists of 4 parts with 46 questions. In some circumstances, you may feel uncomfortable or upset when you answer the cyber dating apps abuse and your sexuality related question. You may choose to withdraw the study at any time any for any reason, without penalty and prejudice of researcher.
