The Lancer Athletics Program is excited to offer all of our 5th-8th grade boys and girls the opportunity to participate in basketball during the coming winter sports season. No matter the experience or ability level, we encourage all of our 5-8 students to participate in the tryouts Monday, November 13 through Thursday, November 15.

Games will be in our SJDL Lancer Gym and other Diocesan schools approximately twice a week from 3:30 - 5:30 pm with 7-8 grade games starting at 3:30 pm and 5-6 grades starting at 4:30 pm. There will be at least 5 away games that drivers will be needed to transport athletes to the respective venue. Practices will be held on non-game days Monday through Thursday. Since both girls and boys share the SJDL gym some practice times may begin at 5:30 pm after scheduled home games. We will host a Virtual Winter Sports Athletics Information Evening on Wednesday, November 15, at 6pm.

Thank you for letting us know if your 5th-8th grade child is interested so that we can enter teams into the Parochial Athletic League for the coming season.

Please note that this is an "Interest in Trying Out" form and NOT a registration form. We will send a Registration Form out later based on the overall interest in playing.
