This is our second semester collecting compost beyond residence areas with our managers, Tori Adams '24 and Lisle Jamieson '24! We accept food scraps like apple cores, avocado pits, flowers/plants, bread, coffee grounds, tea bags, and compostable paper products, and compost them right on campus in the North Woods Parking Lot for use in the community garden. This collection is ideal for a coffee station and/or kitchenette. Compost managers collect material on a weekly basis, so the station stays clean and tidy. Bucket collection goes on pause for winter break, and buckets are collected for summer storage in May.
