Collegiate Seminar Spring 24 Waitlist/Add/Drop Request

This is the Student Request Form to be placed on a Waitlist or to add or drop a Collegiate Seminar class.

We will use these requests to open new sections as needed. You will be notified as soon as new sections are opened.

Otherwise, this process happens during the Drop/Add period (the first week of the semester). A seat in every lower division section & 2 seats in every upper division class are held for this purpose. However, I am limited in what I can do until we are closer to the spring semester.

I advise you to check GXP regularly prior to the start of the semester to see if a spot becomes available. If it does, enroll yourself in the class. If student enrollment is closed, please get in touch with the Registrar's Office to request they add you to an open class. Let me know so that I can take you off the waitlist.

If your schedule/availability changes, complete the Seminar Student Waitlist/Add/Drop Request Form again.

You MUST reach out to the Program Manager a week or two before the spring semester find out which course you will be placed in. Email collegiateseminar@stmarys-ca.edu.

During the first week of spring you MUST attend the class you are hoping to add, even if you have a hold on your account. No show, means no add.

The Waitlist is not first come first serve: graduating seniors and those with difficult work/life schedules will be given precedence. Therefore: ***Not all requests may be granted.***

Lastly, Seminar faculty cannot add or advocate for particular students. Please do not contact them asking to be added to their class.
