The IIDA Oregon Chapter is advanced by the dedication, support and leadership of our community. We are pleased to introduce the second annual Emerging Professional Award, which recognizes and honors a junior design leader who has advanced the Interior Design profession and enriched Interior Design in Oregon.

Nominees shall have 2-8 years of experience, and be eligible to be recognized for hard work and passion, which will further their career. Nominations will describe contributions or demonstrated excelled growth and excellence in:
     - Knowledge
     - Value
     - Community

Emerging Professional Award recipients will be provided with the following prizes:
     - A free membership to the IIDA Oregon Chapter in the following calendar year
     - Free tickets to all events during that year
     - An invitation to attend the annual Design Excellence Awards Jury dinner in the year in which the award is presented
     - A free ticket to the Design Excellence Awards in the year in which the award is presented
     - Highlighted on the IIDA Oregon Chapter website.

To nominate a candidate for the Emerging Professional Award, please complete the following form by August 31, 2018 at 5:00 PM.

The Emerging Professional Award will be presented in October at the Design Excellence Awards. The ceremony will highlight information provided in the nomination, work examples and possible speeches by the nominators and the recipient.

Nominations for IIDA Members and non-Members will be accepted. The IIDA Oregon Chapter Leadership Committee (President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President and all VP’s) will review nominations and award a recipient. If one of the persons on the selection committee is nominated, they will be excused from the awards process.
