Gunn World Language Placement Information March 23, 2022
Hello! Gunn is offering a placement test in March for students:

    **NEW to Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD)

    **Who is/will be a student at Gunn High School but not currently enrolled in a World Language class and have studied one of the following languages: Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, French, or German.

    **Who are native or heritage speakers of any of those five languages (their parents or grandparents always speak to them in that language, or they have spent significant time in the target language country or in an immersion program).  

By signing up for the placement test you will be automatically registered into a World Language class. Once you take the placement test, we will change your schedule to reflect the class that you placed in. If you choose to drop and not take the World Language class you will not be permitted to replace that class on your schedule.

The test will be administered promptly at 3:30pm, in Room G-5 at Gunn HS. It takes a couple of hours, and there is no need to bring anything or do any special preparation. The test will be given online and will cover listening, reading, speaking and writing. Results should be available by the end of that week. You will receive a confirmation the day before the test. Please do not contact us before then.

Deadline to sign up is March 16th, 2022; No exceptions.
