Due to the uncertainty of alert levels impacting gatherings and border restrictions we have decided to offer all term 4 workshops online via zoom.

Setting Up Maths For Success : A choice of a full day 9.15 - 2.45 (Nov 23rd) or split over 2 days from 4 - 6pm (11th and 18th Nov) $175 + GST
This  workshop will weave effective maths pedagogy with practical activities to hook your students into maths at the beginning of the school year.  You will leave with a detailed plan and resources for your first 3 weeks of maths for the next school year which will include:
•      Engaging tasks to help you get to know your learners and create a positive maths buzz in your classroom
•      How to successfully organise a purposeful independent program.
*      Guidance for planning and clear learning progressions
*      How to help your students develop positive dispositions towards mathematics

If you have registered for this workshop you also have the option to choose one of the following workshops for free.

Warm Ups : Wednesday 1 December, 4pm - 5:15pm: $40 + GST (or free if you also register for the 'Setting Up Maths for Success' workshop)
Explore a range of engaging maths starters that develop fluency, reasoning and mathematical language and begin each maths lesson with a buzz.

Digitising your maths classroom: Thursday 2nd December, 4-5:15pm:  $40 + GST (or free if you also register for the 'Setting Up Maths for Success' workshop)
Learn how to turn your hard-copy maths games into interactive, online games and create your own virtual maths classroom for easy access to games and maths tools for your students.

Each teacher will need to complete an individual form to register.  Once your registration has been submitted you shall be sent an invoice. Registrations are only confirmed once payment has been received. If you would like to make multiple bookings in one go, please email jo@mathsdevelopment.co.nz .
