Thank you for your interest in GA Summer Camps!

This application is for first time applicants seeking a position for Traditional Day Camp, Adventurer Camp, Sports, Kids Kitchen, Ropes Course Staff, Extended Day, and Lifeguards. 

Applicants are hired based on the quality of their application, previous experience (including performance in the CIT program, if applicable), needs of the individual camp program, and summer availability.

New hire contracts and paperwork are typically sent between March and April but, if possible, we will send them earlier. If you have questions about the status of your application, please contact Adele Tippett at adele.tippett@germantownacademy.org 

All counselors are required to complete all clearances, paperwork, and virtual trainings before the start of camp. Additional in-person training may be required depending on the role. 

Once your application is submitted, we may schedule a zoom interview with you in order to get to you know better and for you to understand what the role entails.
